November brings time changes, weather changes, and the start of the holiday season, which means it's a great time to strike up a conversation with a loved one. This month, we also honor and celebrate veterans, who bring some of the best stories to our interviews. Go beyond where and when they served. Ask instead:

🇺🇸 What did you miss the most from home?

🇺🇸 What was the hardest part about basic training?

🇺🇸 Who was a close friend?

With technology and AI dominating our work and social lives, I feel now more than ever, we need to celebrate 1x1 conversations. Put down those phones, silence your notifications, and ask questions that you may not think to ask sadly until it's too late.

Thanksgiving can be a great time to talk to our older family members about their memories. Engage the kids and run video or audio recordings to capture these moments of curiosity and reflection. You never know where the conversation will take you!
